This is definitely one of those “Why didn’t I order this sooner?” items. I live alone and have upper back issues that effectively prevent me from moving heavy, awkward items such as my wrought iron bed frame with a heavy mattress on it. That becomes problematic when my long-haired cat likes to lounge under the bed and I can’t easily sweep under there to get all her hair. These little discs are built well, with the foam on one side and plastic on the other. I would suggest as I did, to put your heavy item on them and let it sink into the foam for a while before trying to move. Otherwise I can see where they might slip out from under your item which could cause injury to the movers.I am using these on carpet, so their behavior on wood or laminate floor could be different. Either way, I can definitely see that they offer floor protection. My bed legs are metal and I wish I’d had these a long time ago to guard against permanent impressions in my apartment. That would be one less reason for them to try and hold a security deposit.They are a good value for the money, since there are 10 discs per pack. Now that I have let the heavy bed sit on them for over a month, they’re very easy to move without any slippage that would require putting them back under the bed legs. Very much I’d recommend these for seniors like myself needing to easily move items and clean underneath, or even just for a bit of rearranging.
